From the Desk of Fr. Peter…
Dear Parishioners,
In this time of uncertainty and fear, I assure you of my prayers. I lift you and your families up to God as I celebrate the daily Mass and offer my prayers. Know that you are not alone in this journey and its struggles. I call our attention to today’s responsorial Psalm at Mass to lean our hope as we pray. It’s Ps. 46: 2-3, 5-6, 8-9: “The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our stronghold” and especially “God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress. Therefore, we fear not, though the earth is shaken, and mountains plunge into the depth of the sea.” Our God is near my dear people of God, let us lean on His mercy and power. May I remind also of the spiritual opportunities available to us at this time: confessions Monday thru Friday 10-11am, the church is always open for private prayers Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm. Let us keep each other in our prayers in this time of need. Peace and blessings to you all.
