From the Desk of Fr. Peter

Holy Week and looking into Easter!

My dear parishioners, it is my wish to reach out to you again at this time of stay-at-home due to COVID 19. As ever, you have been in my prayers and Masses through this unprecedented time in our history. Again thanks to you all on the various ways you have tried to keep connected with one another: phone calls, prayers, sending help to the needy through the blessing box, sending cards of good wishes, sending contributions to help meet the financial demands of the parish, and on and on. In all, may God bless our intentions and get us through this time safe, sound and spirit renewed.

We are already into the Holy Week, rounding up the Lenten Season and setting our eyes on the Sacred Triduum when the Church Solemnly celebrates the greatest mysteries of our redemption; the memorial of her Lord, crucified, buried, and risen. I enjoin on all us of to keep steadfast faith in the mysteries of Christ our Lord. Though we may not participate physically in the celebrations, please keep your gaze on these mysteries through prayers and devoted spirit. May God be with us all.
