In a letter from Bishop Gruss to the priests, on April 2nd, he said…“We heard again today from Governor Gretchen Whitmer regarding the closing of the schools for the remainder of the school year. The COVID-19 coronavirus has led to a constantly changing reality, one which is not at the moment very favorable. It is important that all of us continue to join with our neighbors across the State of Michigan and beyond in observing measures to address the spread of COVID-19. We must continue to follow the directives that were issued in Governor Whitmer’s “Stay At Home” Executive Order of March 23, 2020, knowing that they were extended and in place through April 2020. That may be extended with the peak of the virus being estimated around that time to mid-May.”
Therefore, all public Masses and Parish activities at Our Lady of Hope Parish are suspended through April 30, 2020.
We will continue to have the church open Monday-Friday from 9am -1pm for private prayer. Confession will be offered Monday-Friday from 10am-11am.
The Church Office is closed but your calls will be answered.
Hope and Trust in the Lord!
